Inspiration 5/27/13
I just got back from my vacation up in the mountains nears Jemez Springs, NM. As I spent the weekend without technology, including cell service (much needed), I was able to reflect on how much I am always rushing to the next step and to the next day.
We all remember the classic saying to "stop and smell the roses", but do we honestly ever do this?
As I am getting ready to graduate from PT school and step out into the real world I feel a bit lost. I have been in school for my whole life and have never experienced life without school and homework. I am also at a crossroads of where to move and begin my life as a working PT. The choices are far and wide and I know I have many options, but this does not make the decision any easier.
As many of my close friends and family know I am a very "A type" person and like to have things planned and figured out ahead of time. One of my fellow PT friends told me to listen to a song by Doris Day called "Que Sera Sera", which translates to "Whatever will be, will be". The song really put things into perspective for me and is now something I think about when I start to stress about the future.
This week's inspirational post is one of my favorite bible versus.
"all things are possible if you believe" Mark 9:23
