A Taste of Prague

Prague is just a beautiful city full of Gothic architecture and medieval charm. We were only in Prague for two nights and thus only had one full day to experience the city. We took a 6 hour group tour of Prague; which I highly recommend if you travel to Prague. It will save you time and avoid chaos. There can be hundreds of people crammed into Old Square and the Charles Bridge on any given day. The tour allowed us to see all the highlights of Prague, enjoy a relaxing boat ride, and a three-course meal at a local restaurant. My mom had also seen an episode of Anthony Bourdain in Prague, where he tried a fried cheese sandwich, and so of course we wanted to try as well.

Goulash with potato dumplings (which are different from English dumplings, Paula Dean southern dumplings, and German dumplings). The spices in the goulash gravy are just wonderful!

My favorite beer from the whole trip!
Czech beer is fantastic and so smooth! They also say the water in Prague is the best in the world! So tap water is safe and free!

The fried cheese sandwich with mayonnaise. I was not impressed (insert picture of McKayla Maroney from the London Olympic Games here). Maybe we chose the wrong food vendor off the street but it real just tasted like a mozzarella stick stuffed in too much bread.

Just a picture of the famous landmark clock from Prague. It was built as an astronomical clock and you can see the zodiac figures and symbols as well.
